Long time ago I started writing for this blog. I had a project. To start translating my stories from Italian to English, or just start new stories more related to UK or USA characters, cities and publish it. Usually is not simple to get the right target changing language.
I have an English free short tale available on Apple iBookStore.
I have another one of my stories that could be translated in English and published because it’s based in a London of the future, but it’s not just a walk to translate, edit and promote an English novel.
This year I did. I subscribed to the NaNoWriMo, that’s the National Novel Wring Month.
November the writing month. I have to write a novel in 30 days, a novel that has to be of 50’000 words. To win, I have to write about 1666 words a day. I wrote usually a novel of about 90’000 words in 2 or 4 years, so this is a really huge challange.
The novelists of the 2013? We are 250’022.
I’m quite ready to publish my first 5 short stories. The e-book is ready. I need some other revisions on my translation, but it’s been fun and hard at the same time. I better learned English.
I know English. I was stayed in Czech, in Germany, in Scotland, in Spain, in Ireland during some conferences. I spoke English all the time. I studied English, I read English. Last year I was in the wonderful London. I fell in love with that city. Just three days… too few, so I’d like to come back there.
This morning I read a review … well, review is a big word considering the following sentence: “The book is not very good.” Stop. No reason that explain what book part is not very good, or better, why it’s not so great, maybe it’s so horrible that you don’t need to explain what don’t catch your taste.
